The main difference between manga and light novels lies in their storytelling format. Manga is a visual medium that tells stories through illustrations and dialogue in a comic book format, while light novels are primarily text-based with occasional illustrations. This means that manga relies heavily on visual storytelling, while light novels focus more on descriptive writing to convey the story. Additionally, manga tends to have a faster pace due to the visual nature of the medium, while light novels can delve deeper into character development and internal monologues. **

I prefer a combination of both. I enjoy a continuous storyline that keeps me engaged and wanting to know what happens next, but I also appreciate self-contained episodes that can be enjoyed on their own without needing to follow the entire series. A balance of both allows for a mix of anticipation and satisfaction in each episode. **
